Beautiful study with crisp focus and a near perfect uniform (yet natural) background.

How on Earth did they light them all and then disappear? Very unique shot and well handled exp in the dark.

Ooh ooh ooh. The 3rd minimalist 'scape so far! Love it. That thin strip of land surrounded by fiery golden sky and water. Stunning.

CSI? NCIS? What an odd place to tan. Nice "candid" commentary on city life.

Beautiful study and lovely composition using the road to lead the eye through the image. I fear the plugin you used to boost details has left haloing around the tree tops/sky and really spoils the overall effect imo. Used carefully you could have avoided that yet still had the effect on the grass, road, leaves you looked for. I use Topaz Labs very selectively and have worked out how to avoid the haloing by first masking the sky before applying Topaz Adjust. Other makes of plugin have similar side effects and can be controlled. Perhaps you were going for this look, and that's fine.

Compositionally appealing. I feel the DOF you used let you down. The foreground pole should IMO be OOF and only from the 2nd pole (already halfway in the frame) should the focus kick in all the way up to the horison. This would lead my eye to focus on the "west" distant hills following the fence-line. Now I'm constantly drawn to the foreground 1st pole. The exposure is good considering it appears to be a once off shot and not a blend. Perhaps a tad more saturation and levels could be applied to give it some more crispness and punch.

Copy cat! :) Great study of a Sunbird(?) with beak deep in the flower. Colours a bit OTT but striking nonetheless. A bit too centrally composed for my liking (subjective) and the midday sun does create harsh shadows. Good BG and FG separation with shallow DOF on a longish lens. All in all a lovely image. 8.
