Impressive formation in a fiery sky. Not overly HDR'd or Over-saturated. I think the tree tops are somewhat distracting. A different POV with the distant mountains and buildings but no tree tops would IMO make it a very powerful shot, perhaps the one point difference between a 7 or an 8. Well spotted.

Of course I love birds so I'm immediately drawn to this image. Great EV. Not totally blowing the whites with lots of feather definition. The orange foot and orange beak balance the shot. All too often that foot is missing. This is natural selective desaturation :) Love the crown! Well focused. I'd opt for a bit more space to his right if it's there in the original.

We have the plant here (potted) and it's predictably called the "Delicious Monster". It's a palm but I've never seen it's fruit. Very interesting! What's it taste like?
May I suggest photographing it on a black or white BG? Might make the fruit and plate stand out more.

The curves are what attracted me :) to the thumbnail. But the tilt, well it makes me feel lopsided. Nice form and shapes, angry foreboding sky. Even what looks like a bird gathering in the river distant.

LOL at the title. I'm trying to remember what this is called, faces in nature. Great find in the fence. B&W brings out the eyes, mouth and nose

Would be abstract if you cropped tighter, and those shadows would keep me lingering, trying to figure them out. Did you try B&W and push the contrast?

The panel is still out wrt my like/dislike of Lens Baby. Having said that your work with it is thoughtful. In this instance the good balance in the composition has nothing to do with the lens. I almost expect to see a row-boat tied up at the pier to take me to the distant island to some clandestine meeting. Eerie story telling picture Robert.

Great compo and BG Sandy. You used flash here? I think it's a form of assassin bug.

This image is in the technical class of Johanna. I can't tell but I'm verging on shemale.
