Facing the world aloneby RianBotesComment: Great event imagery using the OOF Earth and hidden "Green" to portray despair and loneliness.
In all honesty I wonder how much coal, oil and gas has been burned up lighting, heating, feeding, ferrying delegates by land, sea, air all over the world the past decade or more... and trees to print the flyers and material... |

Ambivalentby ScooterMcNuttyComment: Can you find the model again? :) She is very quirky, fun, ambivalent, moody, good looking. What a find! Good PP too in BW.
One of the two images is reversed 180 degrees.
There's a flaw between your top at waist level and your left arm on the right hand picture. Looks like the eraser tool got carried away? That patch of light makes your arm look thinner than it is? The image there was also reversed to get you looking out of the frame rather than into it. Message edited by author 2012-03-12 01:21:01. |

orchids by LelezComment: Lighting and contrast is not DPC formulae for sure. But I am partial to it.
I fear however the subjects have aged and are not in their prime. |

Joining gracefullyby AbraComment: If you watch and photograph a subject enough, any picture of that subject will create emotion, interest, joy.
Most DPC'ers I fear would say "Not enough light, too dark, uninteresting, poor compo" blah blah and vote 5.5 if they could.
They missed the vignette. The two facing birds watching the one about to land. The feather detail in the landing bird, and that there are in fact 6 birds and not just 4. Oh and the BW PP is subtle and crisp. |
