Great head on and BiF. Obligatory (for DPC) blue sky and interesting cloud formations in just the right places to balance the empty right hand side.
Pity the birds head is in shade which has lost some contrast and definition as well as missing catchlights.

Most unusual image and shows the decay and disrepair of lines all over the world very well. Like the emptiness and feeling of gloom that the disappearing lines portray. B and W correct choice for this image. Rail Travel is far better and far more economical yet we continue to forego it in favour of our gas guzzlers. Some have no choice.

Again spot-on. I could have added a green border to trick the eye and add space above the wing tip. It's very interesting to see everyone’s real feeling about an image rather than some arbitrary score. Thanks for the kudo's too, very kind.

Spot on Nikki. Exactly how I felt. If I had entered it I knew I was running out of space and was unsure if cloning the blue sky in to make it overall horizontal would be cheating or disqualify me.
