Wonderful one! Shame I havent't seen this one in the crowd! :-) I love everything about this shot, the colours, the shades of blue, the composition, being so simple and great, and I guess the use of rules of third was also conscious. Congratulations a much, that's a 10!

I think it's not so well focused or blurry a bit, I think. Anyway I like the frame, strange one, but a good idea. What disturbs me a lot is that looking the inside of the frame, the ceiling or what is different. You could have played a bit more with orange and yellow inside, make som tries with it. :-) And, at last, could have used a different angle, because the picture is a bit skew to the back. But the idea touched me, and I think this shot could be improved to a very good photo with some practise. :-)

I think the dog gets lost in the shadow... Maybe if the photo would be 4 times bigger (2x horizontal, 2x vertical) it wouldn't disturb me so much. When using such a small subject, I have learned during this challenge that using the rule of thirds can make the shot much-much balanced and pleasant. Try it some other time. :-)

In my opinion you should have rotated it to get the horizont horizontal, not the bank of the sea. The skew water looks strange and unnatural in the background. The idea is very nice, but if you put him a very little more left (and a bit more of the sky), I think this could be a very good shot to present the rule of thirds. A little bit improve would make this an excellent one I think (as a beginner).
