I think a slight fill light behind the book (if that's what it is) would help. Its hard to tell what you are holding. There is just a hard line across your chest.

Great composition and exposure. I wish it were a tad warmer so her face wasn't quite so blue.

this is a cool technique. I just wish your relection stood out a bit more. It took me awhile to figure out what I was seeing.

Looks like you chose to shoot at the same locale as another entry.
I think this photo would do better as a 16:10 landscape crop. I would crop the top down to the far end of the path....leaving out all the "christmas lights".

Great twist on the customary "CFL bulb" shot (pun intended)
I think I would try using a deeper DoF to pull the rear twists into focus.

Great composition and exposure! I would maybe play with the white balance a bit and warm it up a tad.

Great exposure! I just wish the light didn't end so abruptly on the stem

The photo is very dark, and it's hard to make out the subjects when they are so very tiny.

This photo doesn't really appear to be using artificial light.

I like this photo a lot! Great exposure.
I do think you need either a little more lamp or little more human. Right now you are not quite equal, with a bit more lamp offsetting the photo.
I think it would be best to bring the lamp back a few inches, and include just a lil' more human so that the space between them is in the center of the photo.
I do think it would also work to have unequal amounts of one subject or the other. It would just need to be 2/3 of one and 1/3 of the other.
