Escape the Tensionsby HeiSchComment: How did this not do better? I'm randomly looking through these and this is excellent. Maybe I should have voted in this one. Either way, well done. |

Dark Skies Approachby vladoComment: This is excellent. That tree is a performer. Considering your border I might have rotated is a bit CCW to make the lines parallel, but it doesn't bother me enough to deduct. Well done. |

Le Mont Saint-Michel by gyabanComment: I tried to get there a few weeks ago but couldn't quite swing it on our France trip. But enough about that. This is absolutely stunning, as you should well know. If this isn't the blue ribbon I'll eat my hat. 10 |

Tree of Lightby brownsmComment: This is a phenomenal use of light. Excellent tones throughout. I would like to see a wider crop to give the tree that much more significance, but I'm guessing there were other trees/whatever that would take away from how powerful this is. Truly excellent, and one of the best in this challenge. |

Lunar Remainsby joekentComment: This is awesome. How did you not get lens flare on this shot? The glass I use would have been a mess. It's so clean and crisp, not to mention minimalist, which as I'm witnessing goes a long way to making a quality B&W shot. Beautifully done. |

Point Cartwrightby RamblinRComment: Very, very nice. You either shot late enough in the day or used an ND filter to get the nice swirl/blur of the waves on those slabs, and it really helps with the tones and smoothness. B&W can bring out a lot of over-sharpening, especially with waves, and you've done a great job of keeping that in check. Well done. |

Pond Reflectionby sagestudioComment: This is beautiful. I really like how you kept the grass/reeds in the foreground. Nice and sharp, adds extra texture. Excellent shot. |
