Sensational photo and I'll give you high marks. But I will take you to task for this: NUMPTY, why did you not save this for the free study this month? It's incredible. The detail and even the bird that cooperated, incredible. And you've blown it in a "shapes" challenge? You know this will get slaughtered in a shapes challenge, because it is not an actual shape. A rock is not a shape. It is a shape, certainly, but not rock-shaped. There is no rock shape.

I've never taken a photo this good, but if I had, and I entered it, I would have called it the tendrils of the tide or something; something that made me relate to the shapes in front of me. But as it is it's just a crazy awesome photo, with little to relate to a shape. I just hope you took another from a slightly different angle so you can use it in the November free study.

I give you 20 for the outlandishly good photo and a huge -13 for trying to squeeze this one into this challenge.

Would have been a flat 10 had it anything to do with the challenge.

And +2 for my rant: 9
