Godfrey Windmill built by 1797by whiterookComment: Well spotted and nice composition. I think it could use a bit of an exposure pop, be it tone mapping or something, to separate the subject from the sky and grass, but it's certainly a great subject. |

Mmmm chocolate wheels!by hojop25Comment: Nice composition and cute photo. Sharp, well framed with the lined table cloth, nice contrast in colors. It's difficult to get excited by cereal, but this is a very professional photo. Nice job. |

Dual Wheelsby Kathy_GCComment: A very nice scene. But it does look a bit as though you've clipped it from an old pamphlet advertising the Mosel river tributaries. It seems slightly dark and slightly soft. Maybe even a slightly different composition would have helped a bit. The intention is excellent, and there's great potential here, but it definitely needs some fine tuning. |

Road Hog!by sjhulsComment: John Deer comin' through! Nice shot. Motion in the tractor but the hills in the distance are crystal clear. Nice depth. Those are meaty tires. Great entry. |

As Time Goes Byby tfarrell23Comment: Nicely composed and nice texture in the wood. Rich color contrasted against the pure white snow. Nice detail to the snow on the wheels. Great depth. Very, very nice shot that honestly gets better the more time I spend with it. Very well done. |

Floodproneby OzzieComment: Oldtimer. Great composition. What would have turned this from very good to outstanding, I think, is a bit of tone mapping or some other trick to get a wider range of exposure so the sky isn't so white. having written that I realize the sky hasn't been anything but white for the past, oh, three months here, but still it seems just a bit too bright.
I love the moss and the texture of the wheel though. I also like how it's jacked up with a stone. Nice find. Well done. |
