Silence is Goldenby dafletchrComment: Great photo. I actually prefer this one to your free study (which did quite well) because I love the depth here. Great colors as well. |

Illusion. Hmm.. by keeyewComment: I'd guess makeup brush as an instrument of illusion, but maybe the illusion is that we're meant to assume it's a makeup brush when it's really a cross-section of an eyebrow on the end of a rolled dinner napkin. Nah, I'm going makeup brush. |

Untitledby schlefComment: Possibly a headphone of sorts? Super clean and crisp. Professional product shot. Cool. |

Emulsionby colorcarnivalComment: Well, I'm guessing a three-hooped mini-beater in some oil and water. I really like the nice range of silver tones. Cool shot. |

Lines, coloursby gpureticComment: I'm guessing a glass instrument of sorts, possibly a glass stir rod such as the ones that come in margarita/drink sets, held over a rainbowish thingamajig. Nice pastel colors, and interesting how the lines are perfectly parallel within the glass while running at an angle to it physically. |

Staring Into the Water, Lost in Thoughtby CJinCAComment: It's a beautiful image that requires a bit of time to soak up the serenity, the graceful movement, the near symmetrical mirror of tones. Maybe too much to hope for in a challenge of 426 entries. I guess that might explain a bunch of the fives, but how this registered 19 sub-four votes is beyond me. Regardless, save this good stuff for the next DPL. ; ) |

Pink Violenceby BeetleComment: Ah, a well worn corkscrew. Really interesting how it fades in and out of the focal plane. Cool effect. |
