Lego Livelihood by PennyStreetComment: Fantastic idea. Great shot. Don't know what's up with the weird shadow in the foreground, but it doesn't keep it from being my favorite. A great blend of taking an interesting perspective of reality and lego-ifying it. Top marks. |

Rocky wavesby cprintzellComment: Excellent photo. Really interesting scene, great contrast, popping clouds, and well done to manage the sharp focus close to the lens (hyperfocal I'm guessing). Great stuff. |

I heard the rain before I felt itby skewsmeComment: Lovely scene. Touch of mist, and interesting cloud formation. I can smell the rain already. Well done to keep that sky from blowing out. Beautiful like a painting. |

Puffin islandby AdzComment: Very nice long exposure work. I do want to curse you though, as I was also there last week but don't have the tools for that (at the hour I was there). Sharp vs. smooth contrast is sweet. Well done. |

The Mile High Cityby Marc923Comment: Nicely done. Great range of tones and contrast, representing the entire spectrum. This surprising seems to be a rare treat. Lovely clouds. Sharp, clean. Excellent photo.
I'm not voting so don't lose any sleep over my critique of the border: I don't like it. First off, it steals too much space from this very nice photo. Secondly, the thick white line is, for lack of better words, not very classy, if that makes sense. A 1-px-wide white line would have nicely set it off, subtly. The thick white line is just too much. I may have even preferred just a black frame. But to be honest, since we only have 300 pixels to work with, no frame is even better. Anyway, take it as one man's opinion, which is as valuable as the next's. |

Fleeby MagnumphotographyComment: Dinosaur? What a wonderful photo. Just the right blur of movement, sharp where it needs it, fabulous colors and contrast. Great stuff. |
