Hilarious. What a great capture. Well seen, and even the minor details take it further, like the alignment of the bricks in the frame, the line of shade, and how her boot, though in the sun, intersects that line. It's a study of contrasts through and through. Awesome shot.

Another beautiful rendition of this, Richard. Though the positioning is only slightly changed, the bright color of sunlight on the hills and the nicely colored sky really open this scene up. It shares the same fantastic scenery as The Ides of March 7:14, but while that one emphasized detail in the topography and nice tones, the color here adds a bit of hopefulness and optimism to the morning. The color also adds another dimension to the great weather in the left of the frame. Excellent landscape.

I used to live there and I never actually thought to go up in the Powder Tower. You take things for granted I suppose, or perhaps spend a bit too much time in the beer gardens. Great vantage point and very nice photo of that beautiful city.
