Order on the rolling groundby jnenvirComment: I like the use of lines in your composition to show order. You really framed it well with a nice evenly spaced V shape flowing through the image and that real straight line of markers up the center! Nice patterns! I think the B&W conversion needs a little more umph. It has a lot of mid-tones, or greys but needs more highlight and shadows (whites and blacks) to give it that pop! Use the light during the golden hours to show shadows and give the image some depth. Overall good job! |

seeking perfectionby klkitchensComment: I could see this being a really fun shot! The trick to making this pop is to make the game pop and capture the pieces flying around on camera, either in stop action or with motion blur! (Would that be chaos instead??) A few things to pick up on, and these are just somewhat minor, would be to get the camera directly overhead of the game to avoid the perspective lines... Also some color would add a bit more to the image! You are definitely thinking outside the box! |

Normal Heights Signby louinsdComment: Nice find on the sign adding interest with a cool name... Normal Heights. In the photo I think you did good with the composition. I do think the photo is lacking contrast somewhat to give it a bit more depth. |

Too many winters have I been alone...by sarampoComment: I like the emotive feel you have going with this. I think the sepia was a good choice to give it an aged feel and you have a good arrangement of everything to tell the story. If there is one comment I could make I think it would be you have shown too much. There is a wide unused space around the top and left of the image. If you could have gotten a little closer and filled the frame a bit more, then it would have been more dramatic. |

Well used slipwayby LadComment: The frame is really bulky and overpowers the shot which is kind of interesting. |

Memories of a Beginningby bspurgeonComment: I like the use of slow shutter speed to capture the motion blur of the clouds. That adds interest! You have very good tonal range and everything is crisp and sharp. |

Cooling Offby phloverComment: I like this photo. It is nice and sharp with a crisp focus with good tones and the lighting is niether too dark or too bright. If there is anything I can comment on it would be a personal preference with the sepia tone. I just don't think the sepia screams summer time because to me it gives the image a slightly cooler feel. |
