$5.oo Per Yearby tfarrell23Comment: Good clean macro, balanced lighting, a few minor bright spots in the raised areas around the eyes, texture is seen but not really the star of this shot. The clean, white background really contrasts and detracts from the old time feel of the coin. It's good, meets the challenge, and would work well for an advertisement or product shot or an ebay auction description. |

Iron at Abandoned Flume - 100 yrs old this month.by crowisComment: It's a great detail shot, but doesn't convey the concept of 100 years old to me. I am sure it is the abandoned 100 year old flume, but this could be anything for all I know. It would work as part of a series of photos studying the subject, a diptych or tryptych or something, but standing alone it doesn't convey the message. |

Bright Lights... Windy Cityby ChapmanStaplefordComment: Good color and composition. I like the lines leading you into the center of the image. This seems to be overexposed though. A little too much shutter speed! Maybe close up the aperture to shorten the exposure a hair to get more blacks and less greys! |

The Rotunda (c. 1903)by dsniderComment: Beautiful composition, however the photo is somewhat overexposed in my opinion! It is beautiful though! |

Whispers and Vespersby OlyuziComment: I like the trees and how you have framed the church! Great even lighting. Lots of grey tones in the snow are offset by the warmth of the window lights. It looks a little shaky as if it were hand held with a slower shutter speed though. |

Tic Toc - circa 1740by JuliBocComment: Very nice detail shot. It would be great as part of a series. Standing alone it doesn't really tell the story of the object shot. |
