There are some exposure problems here. The field has that nice golden glow from the sunset lighting, however the sky is fairly blown out. Perhaps the use of a polarizer or a graduated neutral density filter could have helped. Or bracketing exposures and combining as an HDR would have helped even the exposure of the foreground and the background.

Definite minimalism with the line. I think overall the tones of the shot are a drab medium grey and not very exciting. Nothing real dynamic to the composition other than the zig zag line and the off center placement of the subject. Perhaps a more overhead view would have added some needed perspective.

I am open to the interpretation that you have shown a minimal amount of landscape in your photo. I think the shot has been given too much conttrast and is a little on the dark side.

Great use of lines and pattern to create an interesting composition. I think if you would have re-framed to crop out the sky, you would have gotten a more minimalistic approach to the landscape. Did you try that?? I just think the sky adds a thick horizontal band to all your vertical lines which really takes away from the composition.

Love the noise and the use of monotone blues. The tree is slightly off for rule of thirds, but it is great alone in the field.

I would like to see a little more sky to accentuate the minimalism. Or a higher point of view to get more of the gold tones of the plains which may not have been possible.
