Wildlife Photography Tips: Take Better Wildlife Photosby mbrutus2009Comment: Very awesome shot. I like the pose captured and the glare looking right out to the viewer puts the viewer in the scene. I think this is a bit underexposed unless you were going for a low key effect. Other than that, the only thing I could think of changing would be the use of rule of thirds. But that has no affect on the vote. |

Bokehby posthumousComment: This looks pretty over exposed which far outweighs the small bokeh shown. |

Glass and crystal photography by rhoadesurfComment: I think this is super sharp and crisp. The lighting is great!! No reflections to notice and no real hot spots. I think the only nit pick would be the color choice for the BG. Green on blue... I would like to see white, black or a complimentary color for the green. |

A LONG EXPOSURE of a stareby GengiComment: I like the sky and the reflections. I think the photo overall lacks sharpness and detail and it has a funky red cast throughout. Possibly needs some color correction. Good concept and for improvement I would say to get closer to the subject. |

Lone majestyby absproComment: I love tree shots and I think you did good here. You got the right angle and perspective on the tree. It is a hair off of rule of thirds for composition which detracts. You are also running into the same problem I have around here... lone trees in the field with a tree line in the background. The best solitary tree shots are shot with a very bare background and great sky! |

Cosmic Neighbourby jimnessComment: This is definitely a distant object. I think the concept of the challenge was a little lost due to the fact you brought the distant image close to the viewer with a telephoto lens. But certainly it is not DNMC. A great moon! |

Outdoor Musicby tvsometimeComment: What great color!! You put that blowhole right smack in the center too!! I do think that the far away or from a distance concept was a little lost because you used a telephoto lens to bring the distance close to the viewer. |

Long Spanby MikeComment: I think a little more diamond and a little less sky may have made a better composition, shifting the camera view a little to the left and down a hair. But certainly you have great color and a dynamic image! |

Solitary Towerby redmoonComment: That tower looks like one really cool SLR lens!! I'll bet it's made by Canon! |

Windows Vistaby HighNoonerComment: @ HighNooner - I really like the scene. It has a lot going an and really pulls you in. The blue tones to me suggest changing the white balance to get the colors you got in this photo. |
