You've got great softness, but what I think this one lacks is Tonality. Everything is grey... no real highlight and shadows. The veil should make the image muted, but I think something has gone wrong with the PP.

Nice use of slow shutter speed to add some dynamic motion to the scene. I think it is a hair bright and a tad red, but overall very good.

It's like a shot right out of the 1920's or something... Hey, did you invent a time machine???

Cute! I think a more centered subject would better work here. It's not really rule of thirds. The soft focus really does go well with the soft and cuddly goose.

Your second attempt got a lot of things right. The angle of the camera is better especially without the twisted horizon. The exposure is good and the PP is brighter with a wider range of highlights and shadows. A couple of things suffered in the second take such as the sharpness due to the camera shake. The blurred woman in the foreground is not a problem though as she is moving which adds to the dynamic feel.

A great storytelling image capturing modern life but using a vintage feel to give it timelessness. I like the light illuminating her face and the darkness surrounding her. The image grain and all the elements of the room captured only adds to the tale. I am guessing she is a young bachelorette using her newly acquired ipad to seek out that budding online romance~ (but that's just one story line to tell.)

Superblurbia! Total subject isolation and wonderful tonality to boot!
