pastels.simple-exercise_8587.012312by mariucaComment: Lovely colors and shapes and the placement of the transition to the top darker teal color is spot on. I find myself fighting a desire to see just a bit cropped off the right.. the orderly part of my mind is saying something like "if it's going to be a centered composition, then have it properly centered, not just a bit off-center!! Fragmentsby jomariComment: I'm enjoying this mixture of broken glass, graffiti, blinds at the top etc. and the three supports at the bottom, although the background story is saddening. There is something about windows (and doors too for that matter) that often makes them appealing to photograph.
ETA: You might want to translate CBD for us foreigners. I think it's equivalent to what we might call "downtown" and stands for "Central Business District". Is that correct? Message edited by author 2012-10-09 13:47:19. |

Fresh Lemonsby GermaineComment: I can smell them, 3,000 miles away, where of course our lemons are all store bought. I'm loving that slab that the bowl is sitting on with its interesting crack!

beyondby daisydavidComment: I agree with blindjustice... "haunting" Even more so when I saw the figure.. I find it hard to "capture" trees the way I want and have found that using a lensbaby sometimes helps. This has just a bit of that same feel, but is way beyond just a capture of trees. Thanks. Newsby jagarComment: That's pretty good when what I suspect is a candid portrait "outtake" gets an HM in the free study. Congratulations. Magnificent shot. |

The Technician by Art RoflmaoComment: Congrats on the ribbon. This is priceless, and who knows how useful Riley will find it in the future to be able to pull out an extreme emotion "look" on demand when he wants to!! Message edited by author 2012-10-02 23:49:13. |

Sagittariusby vawendyComment: Congrats, Wendy. I really like this. I especially like the sunlight glancing off the top of the bow, and the hemline of the dress, as someone else already mentioned. Nice that it has special meaning for you and your daughter too. |
