falloutby mitalapoComment: Just lovely, I love the shapes and textures and the decision to fill the image with them. It has feel of a wood-cut or etching to it. Bumped earlier. |

Full of lifeby NeatComment: Wonderful intersecting lines and patterns to explore and enjoy. I remember the first time I saw larch trees in the Canadian Rockies as they were starting to turn. I assume that's what these are, or at else something closely related! Back to bump. |

Specimensby mefnjComment: I like the idea, and the selection, but the light is rather flat and I'm not a big fan of the border/edge in this case. |

Hylophobiaby skewsmeComment: Wonderful capture of an appropriate mood with a great contrast of sharp and blurry. You have a special way of capturing trees. |

Untitledby scarbrdComment: In this image the negative space acts as a camouflage for the subject rather than enhancing it, which is how I interpreted the challenge. |

Approaching Stormby StagoleeComment: My dilemma in deciding how to score this it that the subject of interest is the storm, i.e. most of the image, and those stormy skies also constitute the negative space. So the negative space does not add to subject, it "is" the subject. On further reflection I'll consider the band of crepuscular rays (which I like) as the subject. |
