I love Canonby bennettjamieComment: I agree with the person in the discussion thread who said that the strip of white shirt distracts. My eye was drawn there first, and then only after that to the face, but the white was always competing for my attention. |

Surviving...with a bit of help from their friendsby PenelopeKComment: Originally posted by timb: Good shot. Did all the grain come from the PP or the camera? |
Thanks. The grain came from degradation of the quality of the image as as result of shooting through double paned windows plus a window screen, plus a whole lot more added in processing. Message edited by author 2015-03-01 12:57:22. |

Contemplating Rothkoby Bear_MusicComment: An interesting similarity between the museum guard and the woman that I just noticed is that they're both holding their hands behind their back.
However, the woman's stillness and the guard's movement and watchfulness feel so very different. They provide a lovely contrast. Great image, sweetie! |

Seasetby nickybComment: The endless interest provided by tidal flats. I enjoy the muted tones. |

Sunrise through the kitchen windowby 2mccsComment: There is something about kitchen window views that I enjoy. Perhaps it comes from being so aware of how much that view varies through the seasons and time of day.
I find myself wondering if those are tree shadows or silhouettes, but it doesn't matter. Just an idle thought. Somehow this image conveys both chaos and calm. In my top 10. |

Structureby Yo_SpiffComment: Wonderful abstract. Love the contrasting colors, the sculptural quality and the Chevron effect. In my top 3. |

city sunshineby tvsometimeComment: Intriguing. Holds my attention. I like it and keep coming back to it. I find myself speculating on what time of year this was taken. Are these long summer evening shadows or low light winter shadows? I imagine this man in an overcoat, but who knows! In my top 10. |

Thither by markwileyComment: I keep coming back to this. It's intriguing and moody without seeming too contrived. One of my highest scoring images. |

Counting sheep by P-A-U-LComment: Lovely shot, Paul. Congratulations. But I'm curious what the "." represents? Surely not the decimal place?! |
