Morning Reflectionsby CyrildaComment: I'm bumping my score a little. For this challenge I am making a point of commenting on a few images which fall in different places on my scoring. This one is "in a broad middle range". On this second pass I appreciate the intricate patterns you captured of the partly frozen water. A mixture of dragons and delicate leafy fronds I think. I feel that I might have preferred it without the distracting reflections, although I do like the color they provide. |

Predictive: sun setting over our partnership? Is 49/40 the next wall??by RyanWComment: For this challenge I am making a point of commenting on a few images which fall in different places on my scoring. This was at the low end of my range. The title is an interesting political commentary, but sadly I find the picture does little to capture or hold my interest. Apart from the setting sun the light is very flat and I can't see any detail. Adjusting brightness and contrast to all but the very brightest areas might have counteracted that. |

I remember how the air felt that morning...by NeatComment: Lovely pastoral scene and I like the choice of sepia toning. The single tree provides a good visual anchor for the image and the mist/fog provides the right degree of contrast to be able to appreciate all the details in the tree. Finally I find the grouping of that trio of sheep very appealing! Bump |

Alboran IIby theicequeenComment: For this challenge I am making a point of commenting on a few images which fall in different places on my scoring. This I scored "in the middle". The picture seems well exposed and rock and water make for an interesting combination. However I find my eye keeps jumping back and forth between the man and the highest point of the outcropping, each close to the edges of the picture. The distant background is tantalizingly hard to interpret and neither it nor the few clouds that show add a great deal. |

Being and Timeby posthumousComment: Hang on, I want to join in in this adventure! Excellent restraint. More blur would have spoiled it entirely IMO. One of a few I gave my highest score to for this challenge. |

The Storm is comingby the_rkpComment: Soft but clear. Nicely done. I'm impressed with the level of detail visible in the foreground. |

fisherman's veilby TiberiusComment: Just lovely. An organic shape overlaying a grid. Soft on hard. The shadows giving just a slight sense of a third dimension. One of just a few I gave my top score to for this challenge. |

Battle for better friendship through Sportsby singhsuki888Comment: Great action shot with a wonderful synchronicity of stride. Meanwhile, in contrast, one athlete is looking immediately in front, possibly at the hurdle, while the other scans ahead.
I wonder if you were tempted to crop a bit more off on the left? I might have been tempted to do that even while recognizing that it would have cropped the writing on the nearest hurdle.
