Just bumped this to a 7. A nice take on the challenge. I like the leading line and the contrast between the white fence in morning/evening light and everything else. The patch of brighter grass in the lower right provides some added interest and is well placed (...rule of thirds)

Cathedral

Wonderful composition. My father grew up in Liverpool and North Wales and I remember being taken to this cathedral while it was under construction during a family holiday, probably in the late 1950's or early 1960's.

Creative use of the tilt. I like how at this angle the leftmost paving stones align with the border and the arrow is almost horizontal. Well seen, and I see that I did manage a slight smile! Not voting.

Hey there... taking a 10 minute stop to check e-mail at the library in Macksville on Gwyneth's and my long drive down the new South Wales coast...and what do I find, something to remind me of home (not that I need anything to do that). DPC announcement led me (indirectly) to this. Lovely photo, glad you are enjoying the grasses. Miss you!

One of my favorites. Is the yellow color residual grain or some sort of protective coating on the gears? Whatever.... it provides a great contrast to darker colors of the gears and background.
