R I P P L E Sby Art RoflmaoComment: Fascinating. I like the shades of green that have resulted. Was this area affected by the recent WA floods, I wonder? |

American Kestrelby kanajComment: I'm glad you are continuing to post these. Thank you. I really have very little idea of the birds that are seen in central Texas, or any other part of Texas for that matter. Great format and impressive detail. I love how you captured that turn of the head putting the beak in profile.
I look forward to more! |

waiting for Amtrakby PennyStreetComment: Fun - an arching perspective to echo the arch of the roof trusses.
I heartily second that birthday philosophy, although it took me many, many decades to acquire and act on it for myself! |

Waitingby kanajComment: Well captured. The proximity of the buckle and the horses' eye make for an interesting pair of focal points. The horse seems to be quietly taking in the surroundings. An old hand at making this trip I sense. |

My viewby PenelopeKComment: Originally posted by jomari: That is a beautiful, serene outlook (I hope your workspace is well heated! That sort of cold is beyond my experience.). The processing gives it a timeless appeal. I like the house nestled in amongst the trees. |
It's strange each year to be bracing for the bitter cold meanwhile talking to my sister in the northern part of New south Wales, the Tweed valley, who is suffering through extreme heat and humidity. Yes, the townhouse is well heated, and just as important, well insulated. |

This, plus several others in this portfolio, would be lovely contributions to the "square crop" thread |

I especially like the shapes within the red cabbage! Message edited by author 2025-12-17 11:16:29. |

Northern Flickerby kanajComment: Well captured, and a delightful image especially with the delicate branches with their berries. |

_MAK2228by MAKComment: A very delicate image. I love how the curves of the branches echo the curve of the birds' necks and wings, and even the scalloped edges of the fabric/paper (which is it I wonder?). |
