Tears Of Sorrowby flintdog7Comment: A great take on the challenge. I love the contrast of the lighter and more delicate elements against the darker background. One thing that detracts slightly for me is the lightness of the front metal triangular plate which draws my eye away from the main subject. But I can see that placing the model at other points on this walkway might not have worked very well either!! |

Where's Waldo?by tfarrell23Comment: Fun idea and composition. The path provides a lovely leading line. However the color adjustment seems overdone and has left what is for me an unnatural pinkish/orange cast to the whole picture. |

Red Bellied Woodpecker by GatorguyComment: Lovely lighting on this bird and I particularly like that you captured this while the bird's head was turned. |

Spanning the Chasmby VitaminBComment: Love this. I feel as if I am looking up in a large church or Cathedral and seeing the soaring columns coming together in the rose shape structure.. |

IMG_2539-penny-flipped.jpgby Bear_MusicComment: Sorta looks like someone with a bad migraine headache...I know we just got home from celebrating New Year, but I don't feel that bad! :-)
ETA: I like the patterns in this. My comment came from trying to relate it to the original image of my head, and for some reason I was reminded of the amazing art that migraineurs have created to depict their migraine and migraine auras.. Message edited by author 2010-01-01 09:28:41. |

Architectureby dtremainComment: I love the different textures here, and the symmetry in the image. Great B&W conversion. Looks like an egg carton.. but for just one egg! |

Golden Cellsby bnileshComment: Looks like other macro shots I have previously seen of fat floating on the surface of a liquid, so that is what I am guessing (at least for now).. Interesting patterns with the indentations on some of the "cells" .. |
