Down the Hatch by yakatmeComment: Congratulations, Robert. A great idea and great shot. You really turn up the heat for these team challenges. It's impressive that you can do that so reliably. For me it's much more of a hit or miss thing! Using a camera strap these days. :-) ? |

Johanna, you are sweet to say that. *Blush*.. But they do have some really great photographs in the corridors of the new building Robert was in. |

After lying on a hard gurney for 5 hours, he was complaining that his butt was hurting, and was pleased to see the bed. ! |

Captain Michael Ward, M/V Viking Princess, Provincetownby Bear_MusicComment: Originally posted by jagar: Looks like a jovial fellow, nice one Robert, background is cool. |
He is very jovial, but he has his serious side too (just an excuse to post this other pic of Robert's that I like ;-) ...)
Robert took this one before a concert given by the community orchestra Mike and I both play in. Mike plays double bass, I play cello. No relation to Robert, BTW.
Kelli, yes the kids love the talk like a pirate tour, and that's Mike's pirate hat hanging behind him. You've been out on this boat? |

Scenic marsh with egret and gullby ShutterPugComment: Originally posted by Melethia: Oh, man, the colors are already coming in up there, huh! Gorgeous!! |
It's an unusual year. You notice how the "color" is all on the exposed side of the trees, the south facing side. Wind borne salt during Tropical storm Irene killed those leaves. The grasses are starting to turn a nice color though. |

Blue Heron at the marshby ShutterPugComment: Originally posted by Melethia: LOL at Penny's comment! I love the long grasses here - Robert's marsh is so photogenic! Looking forward to the stuck ShutterPug shot! :-) |
Wait just a minute! Robert has acres and acres of marsh which he claims as "his", but this area is definitely "Penny's marsh". I even have this in writing, see photographer's comments here:

Penny by ShutterPugComment: A truly candid shot. I had just finished laying a trail of sunflower seeds under the gate in the hope of luring a chipmunk for Linda to shoot with Robert's 100-400 lens as it went under there. Hi Cynthia!. Ken, that's sweet of you! You'll make it here one of these days I hope. |
