Life long palsby offiofComment: Very nice. I like how the shape of the dog's torso and head is matched by the shape of the hunter's leg and foot. The intensity of the man's and the dog's gaze along with the sense of stillness contribute a lot. |

Coal Firedby giantmikeComment: I suspect this lost most of the grain effect when you re-sized to 800, which is unfortunate. Interesting composition. The line of smoke stacks seen in perspective nicely balance and complement the rail tracks, providing a diagonal element to an otherwise horizontally divided photo. |
