well, 3 dominoes and 11 dots ... but who's counting. nice black background, good take on negative space, i like the shadow from the first domino onto the other two, even though i suspect you'll get comments about that. only nit is that the light is a little brighter on the first one. -- gr8photos (7)

sorry, in my opinion, this does not qualify as a negative space photo, the whole photo is filled up with the tree fruit (?) that the bug is sitting on. as for the photo itself, the bug is easy to overlook w/out the title, i do like the fruits though. can't wait to see what they actually are, never seen them in real life. oh, and it's not a ladybug (unless they look quite differently where you are from where i am), but i don't know what the right name is, either. -- gr8photos.

i'm not too thrilled with the title, but then, this is not a title contest. as for use of negative space, i think you've used it very well, better than many (including myself) in the challenge. the composition is great, and even though there are a couple of specs in the photo, i know how hard aquarium (or under water?) photography is, and it's nothing you can't fix once the challenge is over. i love the yellow and blue colors. definitely in my top 5 this week. -- gr8photos (10).

sorry, but in my opinion, this barely qualifies for negative space, the checkered table cloth is too bright and actually attracting my attention. in addition, the whole photo seems a little soft overall. i wonder if you intended that, and if yes, why? i would rather see the shot a littler sharper. -- gr8photos.

this shot qualifies for the challenge, however, your horizon is rather tilted (but not enough to suggest it was done deliberately), and the photo is rather pixelated, probably due to the file being saved at 1/3 of the allowable size. there are some tutorials on this site to help you maximize the photo quality, i'd also be happy to try and help if you want to send me an email. -- gr8photos.

i'm sorry, but in my opinion, this isn't too much of a negative space photo, the dog takes up most of it and is not enhanced by the background. but then, the background also doesn't detract, the photo itself is nice, b&w works, i just wish there was a little catch-light in her eyes. -- gr8photos.
