Early Morning Harvestby labudsComment: Beautiful. One of those images that stick out amongst the thumbnails and then also doesn't disappoint when you open it up. The gradient sky and the stars alone would make a superb image. The two ears of wheat are a nice counterbalance and are fabulously lit. The two (wheat and sky) almost look like they haven't been photographed at the same time (no, I'm not accusing you of cheating :), I'm curious about the lighting, did you light the wheat separately? Will check comments after the voting is over. |

Sun Dappled Kittenby platy123Comment: Yep, that's a cat's life for you :) I like the pose (it's so typical) and while I like the leaves, too, to give it a bit more texture and depth, I do think I would like the shot even better if the one eye wasn't covered up and both eyes were a little bit more instantly noticable, often, it works best if they are the focal point of the photo that draws the users attention. |

My Wayby ImagineerComment: I just saw your link to this with regards to BetterPhoto, it's a stunning shot, and well deserving of a win over there. The next thing I noticed is that you took this in Enfield ... I lived in Edmonton for a few years and often went to Enfield to go shopping. The Kings Head used to be my "not-so-local local". My (then) boy-friend grew up in Enfields. Small world! Brings back a lot of memories! :) Anyhow, really just wanted to congratulate you (belatedly) on that wonderful shot! |

Engagement and Weddingby cbellerComment: Very nice composition, and good for the challenge. I don't like the color, it's too unnatural somehow. Otherwise a fine pic and in my top 10 this week. |

Girls and Makeup Go Hand in Handby ScantyNebulaComment: Very nice and very appropriate for the challenge. The lips and the lipstick color clash, matching would've given you an extra point. Soft focus is very nice here, so is the composition and crop. In my top 10 this week. |

Salt & Pepperby puyaComment: Nicely arranged. One of those photos where reflections add to the shot. Love the colors. In my top 10 this week. |

Togetherby roy204Comment: Very nice. I wish the back of the pieces wouldn't melt into the background, but the composition and high-key approach are great for this photo. In my top 10 this week. |

Comb & Hair by Harz_JoergComment: Great, love the comb and it goes well with the hair. The border lost you a point but still in my top 10 this week. |
