Glass Cometby lisaeComment: This was one of the ideas (kind of) I had, too. I was thinking of making a trip to my local church and taking shots of the stainglass windows. Anyway, I think this photo could have done with a flat background, the shadows thrown by the wood distract from the shadow you want the viewer looking at. I like the composition of where the star and its reflection are positioned in the shot. |

Exitby chariotComment: There's shadows here. But why the angle? I may just not be getting it. |

Rustshineby Ricky CleaveComment: Cool title for a cool shot. Like the composition, and I'm a sucker for close-ups of rusty things anyway. |

Blue bird of paradiseby snsComment: This is the negative of your original photo, right? Well, I like it. I like the idea of taking a photo of a mobile anyway (I have two at home and tried, but didn't get a good shot to submit). Turning it into a negative has a cool effect. Are you getting comments that this is not a shadow? |

Red Manby LanSnakeComment: Ok, so this may be a really wild off the mark guess, but is this an umbrella? You got me intrigued. |

Blinded by the Lightby brumosComment: Great idea for shadow. Works well in b&w. Good focus, and I like that the hand is only partially visible. I wish her left eye was totally in the sun, but that's just a nitpick. In my top 3 this week! |

wrong address...by MagsCoyoteComment: Good catch on the bee (it's a woodbee or something, isn't it?). I know this was probably a now or never shot so you couldn't clean up around the bee, but the orange strip is very distracting, so are the twigs. |

7:49PMby rajronComment: Very peaceful. I like hilly landscapes, the colors are great, too. Not sure the shadows are much of a focus here, but they definitely are present. Is your horizon sloping a bit to the left? Not sure. It may just be the lighting. |
