Fairytale Dreamsby larimarieComment: The softness of this photo gives it the dreamy effect you were trying to get; I\'m glad you ignored my advice to sharpen it! The parts of trees at the sides give this a natural setting. I like the swan too. I wish the top of the one tower wasn\'t cut off. And too bad there were so many clouds that day; I think a blue sky would have been more fairytale-like. |

tower in the rainby stephanComment: The street lights provide balance to the composition, allowing lots of negative space at the top to create a striking image. |

Progression by zeuszenComment: Atmospheric perspective is put to good use here, and works with the reflection to make a peaceful image. The docked sailboats are a nice contrast and contribute to the overall effect. I don't really understand the title. |

The Coastby ZoomdakComment: Nice photo, soft and peaceful. A lot of different textures make it fun to explore. It would be great in the right context. |

Rose Bowl roseby in4funComment: Great composition. The foreground rose bush nicely frames the stadium. But the subject is obscured by haze. A UV or polarizing filter would have prevented it; some postprocessing Levels and/or Curves might be able to save it. Sharpening would help too. |

Downtown Kalamazooby Spork99Comment: The composition seems to work and I like the starbursts on the lights. I'd have made it a bit sharper, but the softness gives this image a slightly dreamy feel appropriate for the night hour. |

Industrializationby karmatComment: B&W works well for this, but it is a bit soft for such a stark subject; some sharpening would bring out some of the details and better suit the subject. |

Tallinnby zummerComment: Too much space at the top for me. The vast negative space doesn't add anything to the photo; just the opposite. Crop most of it out. What's left is very interesting: a nice assortment of shapes and colors that conveys some of the character of Tallinn. |

Hepner Hallby CDSComment: Nice symmetrical composition. The foreground flowers are a nice touch. But the image is very soft; it really needs some sharpening. |
