You've captured the interesting texture of the water stream very well. The knobs don't really add to the photo. They do provide context, but I'm not sure it is necesssary. Cropping them off to produce a vertical format photo would, I think, create a more striking image. (Though still not a "still life" except in the most literal sense that you've made one short instant in time "still".)

Doorway To No Where

Creative arrangement. I especially like the leaf stem sticking out of the bottom. The white background is effective, but making the doorway a bit darker and adding a little sharpening would help bring out its nice textures.

Pecan Pie

The pie has great color and texture; it would make a great center of interest. But the bowl holding the pecans, being larger and darker, steals it away. Having them spread on the table beside the pie would make them a vital but non-distracting element. Add a few more elements (perhaps some eggs and a pie server) and choose a more interesting background and you'd have the makings of a great still life.

Green on Blue on Green

The blue plate is a nice contrast with the green and I like its refracted image on the tablecloth. But the overall image is too soft and I find the noise distracting.

The plate has character and I like the milk with its bottle and the apples. I'm not sure about the spoon. The low key and color cast make the image seem rather funky.

The tortoise has a great pose and the plants make a nice setting. The stuff on its shell is a bit distracting. You aren't the only one to confuse "still" life and "still life".

Not really a still life, but it is an interesting building. The blue effect is nice, but a bit overdone. The soft focus would give a misty effect except that the light reflected from the shiny parts of the building aren't diffracted like they would be in a mist, so it just looks out of focus.
