I love the vases, and the idea of just one little stem. I just wish the lighting was a little bit different. It's so close, yet it just seems a bit flat. Especially on the flowers. They look a bit yellowish instead of white like you're mixing artificial and natural light?

I'm not crazy about the washed out processing on this, but I really do like the texture of the table on which it's sitting. And the fact that the flowers aren't very balanced regarding the size of the vase.

Wish it was processed differently. But not sure that the parts I like would be as effective if is was...

I really like the idea of this. I like the lighting and background. But I wish you would have used some flowers or weeds that were more lacy. These read weeds, not flowers, and just seem rather bulky. 6 as is. It's just that I think it could have been really effective, but didn't quite make it for me.

Love the cat. Interesting vase. Wondering if a bit of perspective correction would have helped. Everything else is so symmetric, the skew on the right just keeps drawing my eye.

Vase and shadow

Is it a Neat photo? I like your toning. I would have liked it a bit away from the wall so that the wall didn't have so much texture -- but only because the texture on the vase is simply yummy! The lighting, the shadow, the toning are all wonderful. 7 as is. 8 or so with less texture on the background. Higher would have needed some sort of emotional connection. Not quite sure how to do that with a vase. :)

Seems a little too sharpened and too bright. Imo, it would have been more effective toned done in the saturation and contrast. It just appears to be shouting a bit.
