Mr-Peacock.jpgby crissyaComment: oh, how fun! I love it! it looks as if he's wearing a beaded headdress on top of everything else. like he's dressed up for a masquerade ball. |

The Winding Roadby onesaintComment: I really, really like the picture, but the foreground tree doesn't stand out much, and there are trees behind it. Even though it's wonderful, it just doesn't seem to fit the single tree category |

Standing By The Pondby BrianRComment: I like the tree, I like the sky and clouds, but the colors are so overdone. I would have like it much better more natural. |

Dead Wood & Waterby PaulComment: very, very nice tree, however, the background seems too busy. There's not enough contrast between the tree and the background to make it stand out enough so it gets a little lost in the photo |

In The Countryby HipychikComment: I liked this very much, but even though the tree was the focus of the challenge, I still didn't care for it centered. I would have liked it much better off a little to the left. |

Along the Wayby wsteynComment: very nice. funny thing is, I really couldn't decide whether I liked the bird or not! I enjoyed seeing the picture. |

Standing,,,by ikopanasComment: I love the tree and the sky, but I found it way too blurry. Also, I would have found it more interesting without losing the top and left of the tree. So little of it is out of the picture, it looks like it couldn't fit instead of a cropping choice. I think if the focus was sharp it would have been very nice. |

Lonesome Pine Development corp.by raishComment: I'm sorry, it's an interesting tree, but I feel that there's not enough contrast between the tree and the building. The trunk disappears into the building, and it makes the tree top seem to float--it's disconcerting. Would an angle more to the right have set it off more? |
