I like the idea very much, but it wasn't immediately obvious that it was on fire... I'm not sure how to make the fire more obvious, perhaps letting it burn a little longer, or using a little less light (the highlight on the wall and the lower corner is washing things out a tad...)

I think it's very creative. I would have liked something more connecting the leaf to the apple--it appears to be floating there (although maybe it's just my monitor).

I also would have liked the apple lightened just a tad, by darkening the shadows so much on the right, it makes it a little more flat. I'd like to get more of a sense of 3-dimensionality.

I like the crop.

well done on the piecing, I would have liked the background much lighter--the darker makes it look gloomy. If you lightened it up, I think it would really pop!
