Power Smashby zerocusaComment: Wonderful capture--bizarre shot. He's so twisted! (it looks like he's smashing an eyeball :) |

Lifeby ssanComment: It's a very intriguing picture, but I think the DOP is a little too shallow for my tastes. If you had to work with this DOP, you might be better off focusing on the near flowers and letting the shot fade off. The upper right corner with the orange and white draws your eyes, but there's not much for them when they get there. perhaps burn it out a bit or crop it out? |

Long walk homeby KarelfredComment: Very, very nice. Love the fog. especially like the lighting on the bags he's carrying. It would be interesting to see it from a different angle--moving more to the left side of the road so we get more of a feel of the road going off into the distance. - 8 |

Spider War!by AnachroniteComment: funky shot! I'd be curious to see what it looked like at their level (laying down and taking the shot) I wonder if it would bring out their legs more... |

Escargo by black_countComment: Cool snail! Small suggestion---the brighter yellowish color at the top draws your eyes, and there's nothing to see up there. You might want to burn it out a tad. |

The Sunshine Boyby gsalComment: Very nice lighting. The only suggestion is to have him look not quite so far too the left. I think it would be a little stronger with no so much white showing in the eyes. |

Pollenby ConnorComment: Very nice--seems a bit over saturated to me. |

It'a Water Under the Bridgeby BAMartinComment: I like it very much. I'm wondering whether the cropping could be improved--something seems a little off (nit-picking here--it really is very nice). Have you tried cropping in a little more from the right? Also, for the future, I'm curious what it would have looked like down more at his level. Might have given an even better sense of the waves and the grandeur of the bridge. Just some thoughts--I like it because it looks cold and sort of menacing. - 8 |

House Finch in Late Winterby MaryOComment: Very, very nice! I hope you don't get hit for having the tree branch OOF. One thought--have you tried cropping it in a little more from the right? The branch adds a nice diagonal to the picture, but I'm not convinced that you need to much of it. Try leaving the height the same, and crop of 1/4 to 1/3 of the branch and see what you think... - 8 |
