just enough for my pb & honeyby leonedavisComment: Wonderful idea! I keep going back and forth as to whether or not I want a deeper depth of field. Part of me thinks having the peanut butter in the jar in focus would be more interesting. Part thinks that the out of focus is interesting. I think the reason that I want a deeper depth of field is because of the knife. If it were just the jar and not the knife, the blur would be more interesting.
One small thing (doesn't affect the vote), you've caught a piece of an outlet or something in the background on the right hand side -- would be better without it. -7- |

You Are What You Eat ???by MollyComment: That's pretty gross! Cannibalism on DPC. Now we've seen it all! :D
I wonder if a lower angle would have been more effective. |

hot times in the hot tubby smardazComment: It's a fun idea, but it seems very dark, and the highlights in the front of the jar and the peanut face are distracting. Perhaps side lighting instead? |

Poppa, I've got to pee!!!by wolfComment: Excellent image! My only 10 so far.
Hmmm... It's disappointing that I can't bump this up. Can't I give a 12? |

Parachutesby ShermyComment: This is another shot that I'm having a problem with voting. I think the focus is completely appropriate for the shot. Unless you were saying the missed focus was because of a shallow depth of field and that both the girl and the dandelion should be in focus...
not voting yet -- still considering. |

goneby bubeltrubelComment: I don't know how to vote on this one -- it's a wonderful shot, but I don't understand what the missed focus is. You may think that the subject is the girl, but you have the focus exactly where is should be on this shot. Unless you're saying that the dog's face is too soft and that it's nice and sharp on the rear. But I guess that amount of softness doesn't bother me.

WRITERby imagesbytlpComment: Very nicely done. I like the spiral fading off and the curves of the pages. -7- |

I'm Keeping This Oneby cowtownmomComment: Good luck with that! (all artists know that "I'm keeping this one" never works...)
Makes me want to get out my yarns, needles and hooks! |

NoNo: 1990-2006by MeMex2Comment: I'm sorry if I'm wrong -- but it looks like you have some reflections off of this. I think it would have been better if you would have used a polarizer to cut down on the reflection. 6 |
