Follow Me by h2Comment: Sigh* Take a week and a half off, and through in some trip photos, and then Oliver races ahead! How the heck am I supposed to catch up when you're 12 points ahead, and I have a 5.5 going in bike??
When I only manage to whittle away a point here or a point there, this is going to take me the rest of the year. :(
Stop it!
Seriously -- with that problem with light, this should have scored at least .0000002 lower! ;P
Congrats on the yellow. :) |

One Too Many by h2Comment: Ok -- I commented on this one, and the comment is gone!!
Trying again.
This is simply beautiful!! I really need to get a reflective surface. Is this a counter or something you've purchased -- because it makes such a gorgeous shot. (Well, you made the gorgeous shot, but you get the idea... :)
Congrats on the yellow! But seriously, can't I ever get away from you!!? |

The Penitent by vawendyComment: Originally posted by tanguera: Fabulous, Wendy. You really do have a way with pears. I bet the squirrels are feeling abandoned...
Can you share your light setup? Looks like two. |
Yes -- there was a flash behind the group with one of those 8" velcro soft box attachments (there was also a big window on that side, but I had the speed set to 1/160, so I don't think that played into it at all), and then I had a shoot through umbrella set up on the right side, close in, pointed at the lone pear. I have no idea what the settings were -- sorry. I'm still trying to learn flash, so I change things a lot. I really love the shoot through umbrella though!! I need to get another one of those. :) |
