foul mouthsby mariucaComment: It's intriguing at first glance. Somehow the open hood echoes the dragon. You almost find yourself waiting for flames to come out. However, the intrigue doesn't last very long. There's doesn't seem to be much farther you can go with it. 6 for initial impression. |

Balandra Breakfastby vladoComment: My first thought was more documentary than art. However, it grows on you. Lots of stories. Lots to discover. The guy without the shirt at the end was what tipped it over, imo. Works for me. |

Artseeby EnlightenedComment: Closer than most. There's a story here in which to delve and discover. But it doesn't last very long. Almost there. |

A murmuration of Infinityby GilesComment: There's something to this one, yet it doesn't seem enough to me. Perhaps it would be more impressive in a larger format. |

Jacked Rabbitby CoryComment: Not crazy about the bottle. Yet without the bottle, I think I would have liked it a lot. Seems too contrived this way. |

reverbby RKTComment: I like the idea, and it's really close, but doesn't quite make it. There's no curiosity or emotions that I'm finding. A tad because of the rain -- adds a bit of melancholy. But I just think there could be more to it to hit the "art" stage. Something that draws you in over and over again. |

March's Palm-Pitviperby DenielleComment: It's a cool image that works well for a documentary type photo, but I'm not sure it works as art for me. Art, imo, should make you feel something -- curiosity, excitement, intrigue, anger, etc. Something that draws you in and keeps you coming back over and over again. While this is beautiful, and the colors are lovely, once I've seen it, it doesn't draw me back to explore more. |

Are you talking to me?by Catherine_BComment: Normally I find nature shots to be more documentary that art, however, there's such a great expression and feeling of resignation on the face -- it says a lot more to me than a normal animal shot.
That being said, The background is oversharp -- it works on the beastie, but you're getting weird halos around the rocks. |

summer afternoonby tangueraComment: I've been quoting the same types of things in my comments: Art should make you feel something. It should go beyond just documenting the world. This one works for me. Mostly because it just makes me curious. I'm wondering about the story. It could simply just be models modeling dresses, but I'm seeing a much better storyline and I keep looking farther and farther into this trying to find more clues. Well done. |
