I'm really wanting to love this one, but it's just not hitting me for some reason. I'm wondering if having more of the window/door visible. Or perhaps more to the right -- more of the shadow. Or cropped significantly up from the bottom. I think it's just because the arm and the hair and the light is fascinating, but the whole middle part just gets muddled and loses the interest, simply because it can't keep up with the rest.

Just thinking out loud, because I really wanted to find out why it didn't work for me. -6-

I wish you had cloned the white line coming out of the head or even cropped it down part way through the hair. Simply because this is truly stunning, and it really draws the eyes. 8 as is. 9 or 10 with the white fixed.

I assume that this one isn't going over as well as some of the more classic ones (just a guess), but I find it much more interesting. The window should be a distraction, but I'm not finding it one. And there's something very intriguing about it. More of a story in the eyes. I was going to give it an 8, but I gave an 8 to one of the classic ones and I like this better, so it has to be a 9. Nicely done.
