Not sure what to do with this one. Didn't care for it the first or second time through the challenge, but the more I look, the more I like the colors. And the feel. Something doesn't quite work with the main flower. But the rest has grown on me more. First voting pass: 6 for changing my mind.

Ok -- I think this is genius! Something that I don't know if I would have liked as much without the challenge, but the eyes are so great, that I'm hoping I would have at least looked a little longer and not dismissed it. I would have loved it cropped down from the top just a small amount (the top of the diagonal line in the upper right).

Ok -- I'm trying to comment 100%, and this is my first photo. This might make me change my mind and only comment on one, depending how it goes. :)

I assume the flaw is the lens flare. First, I no longer think of flare as a flaw. But I look and see if it enhances the photo. I'm not quite sure on that. Part of me thinks it's a distraction, but part of me thinks it leads nicely to the dog, brings out the fact that there's some nice rays there that I may not have noticed, and moves the eye around. So it ends up balancing out the positive and the negatives of it, and so I'm voting on the photo -- 7

I'm feeling bad because I gave this a 6. But it didn't speak change as much as others. But it is a truly exquisite photo and I think would have scored much higher in a free study. So beautifully done.
