Jun 05 - Insideby hajekaComment: I really like the way the flower forms its own vignette effect, making the center look even sharper. |

See All The Peopleby Art RoflmaoComment: Yes, the processing suits the subject well.
Did you use a tripod and timer, or someone else's hands? I'm always having to figure out ways to accomplish shots when I'm also the model. |

IMG_6022by MikeOComment: Seems uglier than it really is, maybe because, as a larval form, it retains more segmentation than in the adult.
Image still seems a little flat -- I think I'd try blowing out the BG altogether, somewhat as if it was a mounted specimen, and then increasing the contrast a bit on the body.
Would be excellent for textbook-type use. :-) |

Etched by scalvertComment: I agree that's a really good bit of sketching, but if you haven't already seen it, check out this guy's gallery -- it's almost unbelievable what he does ...

Missouri Pineconeby ElaineComment: I was contemplating flagging this for nudity, but then I'd have to hide it for a TOS violation, so I think I'll just compliment you on your perspective and move on ... ;-) |

Anemone by MacDonaldComment: These are also the subjects of one of my own favorite photos, taken on a "field trip" with Bear_Music nearly two years ago. I wish I'd been smart enough to enter it in a challenge!
Nice color and detail, good job avoiding/eliminating any reflections.
Congratulations on the ribbon! |
