Orange Set

Comment:
Good idea, but I think the orange would look better with a little softer lighting, although maybe the contrast in textures was what you wanted.

Unique--I like the sense of motion implied but not shown.

Comment:
For some reason this reminds me more of a zombie movie effect ("Night of the Living Oreos") than cold temerature, although I guess you could say that is spine-chilling. Somewhat similar feel to my photo "Cereal Killers."

I like the way your fingers make the ice into a heart-shaped outline. I don't think I like the figures in the ice, but it's hard to tell with seeing the alternative.

Sunny-side up seems to be the order of the day. You'd probably have to use a ton of grease to keep them from sticking. Good control over DOF, but I wish the cameras weren't quite so rapid in the degree of OOF in the foreground; more as it occurs in the background. Might not be optically possible though ....

I suppose putting a non-stick coating on a road surface wouldn't be quite practical. Good thing you like them "sunny-side up." Around here, a sidewalk is the preferred frying utensil, but the blacktop will reach a higher temperature. I think you could maybe crop out most of the cars without losing impact.

I assume you will post a tutorial on how you set up this shot. I think some people may be spending too much on these contests.

Hard to tell for sure what the air temperature is, but an outstanding sunset photo regardless.

Probably the first word of your title would have been enough. You might re-crop this later and add to the "funny license plate" collection in some recent thread.
