In A Palm Tree's Shadowby ScottKComment: Technically, I think you've reversed the challenge and are using a shadow to capture light, but you've done well at capturing both detail in the silhouette and color in the clouds with difficult backlighting conditions -- I try this a lot myself. |

Victorian Eleganceby OneSweetSinComment: I like the intricate shadow patterns, but I think the ornament(?) comes across by far as the dominant subject. Maybe shooting with the light at a lower angle or positioning the glass partly out of the frame would emphasize the shadows more. |
