... and something about your title tells me you mean more by this photo than just "a barbed wire fence." |

Me too! Mine actually got a 4.9, despite a metaphorical rather than literal interpretation of the topic. It's definitely a "groovy" photo.
Since you have that solid black area to help make selections, you can have a lot of fun with this image, for example pasting someone's face into the plasma ball and fading it back to look ghostly or projected. |

In the Zoneby ellamayComment: The subject is a complete silhouette, with less than 10% lit from the back (right), just enough to give shape/dimension. Great action shot! I was trying to remember if that was called a skimboard ... I haven't seen a real one in a long time ... |

"The Creation of Adam" by Michelangeloby labudsComment: Originally posted by Imagineer: I don't believe this is a Michelangelo actually! ;)
Nice take and well shot. Thumb on the right looks artificially large though. |
It's from the Sistine Chapel:
Although technically, it doesn't depict the creation of Adam, but rather the point at which he is imbued with life or soul or whatever ... if God had ever done that before you could call him the Re-Animator .... Message edited by author 2004-04-26 00:53:44. |

Glassby JackoComment: Excellent lightling, original subject for this challenge. I don't know if I like the assortment in a lineup like that -- I think I'd either use two the same and one different, or maybe put the shorter one noticably in front to add some depth and purpose to the differences. |

The Turning Angelby sherComment: Interestingly, you have a bit of a dark halo around your angel ... I'm wondering if it's intended that way. |

The Kissby kosmikkreeperComment: Even though it might not have been as "realistic" a depiction, I'd be mighty tempted to move the two figures closer and crop to a square, to make it look even more like the classic "faces or vases" illusion. |
