magnum opusby whiteroomComment: With a 1.7 spread between commenters and the overall average, it's obvious if you stop and look at this for a while you'll appreciate it a lot more -- sorry we couldn't get you up to a 5. |

Actually, in focus it just looked like a wrinkled old T-shirt I dug out of a box somewhere ... : )
Thanks to those of you who saw there was a reason for the ultra-blurriness. |

I was on deadline and about a 33% magnification -- I just never really noticed it. I thought it was a pretty darned stupid rule and ruling too, but I had to admit that they were enforcing the rules as written and equally to everyone.
Maybe if I hadn't oversharpened it so it made that halo under the dark edge it would have slipped by ... |

Laser Peelby GolferDDSComment: Originally posted by lnede: Photoshop was only used to increase contrast, brightness, saturation, crop, and the use of cloning tool to remove some imperfections. The star appearence was achieved by using a small mirror on the apple and a laser light directed at the mirror. A cross screen 4X filter was used on the camera lens. |
Thanks for the info. It would be very helpful to put stuff like this in the "additional info" field to start with -- that's what it's there for. : ) |

I couldn't agree with you more, "[W]ithout touching on those touchy subject matters, where would we be?" |
Congratulations, I'm happy to see this finished far higher than I would have guessed. |
