Blue-Eyed Blondeby NobodyComment: Nice job with the BG and the vignette effect, though I think you could have brought it in even a little tighter. I don't think the lips need to be quite so bright, either; though I like the small splashes of bright color overall, less is more in this case. : ) |

His Royal Highnessby banditComment: I'd consider cropping from the right to a square crop ... or else include the whole stretched-out body. Good expression and isolation of subject from background. |

Dainty Gem by SonifoComment: Wel-done lighting "natural selective desaturation" effect. For a "portrait" I'm always tempted to crop in closer, to focus more on the subject than the context. |

Unknown, 2005by pawdrixComment: A great combination of effective portraiture with anonymity -- the amount you can tell about the person without being able to identify who it is. |

Bubbles? My Bubbles!by SchuffComment: I think I'd prefer having the subject "look into" the frame would work better; the bubbles can be "escaping out the top instead of the side. But I know there might not have been anything on that side for this particular shot, which does have great expression. |

Strummerby peterishComment: Ror reasons of both placement and brightness, I thnk the foreground foot is too dominant, though I like the idea and pose overall -- this could work with a tighter crop, maybe just to the left of the elbow and above the foot. |
