That's actually a good looking diorama. Processing and grain are fitting. Looks like you were actually at the beach. Nice use of the jacks. I have to guess Yo_Spiff due to the theme.

Of all of the entries, I think this is one of the better submissions. It has good foreground and background blur that gives the focused portion that miniature look. The focused portion/subject has action to keep the viewer interested. With that said, I wonder if the foreground and background DOF could have been lessened just a touch for more context of the scene. Just a thought. Best wishes on the voting.

This has good foreground and background defocus/blur where I would think the focused portion of the scene is a miniature scene. With that said, I'm spending a lot of time trying to figure out if this is a good example of tilt shift work that has captured a real scene to look like a miniature; or is this a capture of a actual miniature scene. I'm leaning toward an actual miniature diorama. Whatever the case, this pic fits the tilt shift challenge well, it has the look, it has interest in the scene (people, cars, buildings, etc.) Good luck with the voting.

Has the flavor of bspurgeon, jagar, or nixter. Simple, but tells a story with the composition. Lines are great; like just including the legs only of the man; like the reflection of the guy on the textured ground. Well done.

Nice mother-daughter casual portrait. Lighting looks good. I prefer this over the B&W.
