I neglected to comment on this. I really liked the "pattern" and "texture" created by the rocks. I initially didn't catch the boy in my first second of looking. I think that's why I liked this so much; the kid is camouflaged. Great shot. FWIW, I was one of your 8's.

Very nice portrait. Has a real sophisticated air; with her eyes, tilt of her head, position of her hands (along with the ring and manicured hands and eye make up). I would think she is very pleased with the portrait.

Like the elements here. Cool cloudy sky with sun rays. Like the silhouettes of the trees and truck and car. I'm usually not influenced by titles, but your title is fitting. If only there was an isolated farmhouse. This is one that takes a bit of a longer look and the message/story to appreciate IMHO. I think it should end up >6 in the scoring. Best of luck.
