I'm trying to figure out where the focus point was. Maybe the left petal. My eyes are drawn to the yellow part of the flower, so a sharp focus on the yellow would be better for me... just my opinion.

Like the concept. Looks like a lot of effort to make the shot happen. However the colors (red vest, yellow hat) look dull. Maybe a fill light on the person's face??? or maybe had the person sit facing the sun??? Maybe incorporate the musician as a bigger part of the image where the viewer can see the tranquility of their face??? Just my opinion.

Compositionally, I think it would have been a stronger image if you got more of the waves/water to the left since thats the direction the surfer is headed. He seems just a bit out of focus. Otherwise, you caught him at the peek of the wave, nice angle of the board, nice extension of the arms. Almost a nice action shot.
