There are hangars with that same design of huge vertical sliding doors at Moffet Field in Mountain View (south of San Francisco), also currently home to NASA/Ames Research Center.


Actually, I've never been inside. Friends say they would spend a few hours a least. PM'd you also.

Wow, that's cool. Up here in Portland, we hardly ever see lightning bolts, usually sheet lightning (I think that's what it's called). This is a cool stack.
